Joint initiatives support graduate students and postdoctoral, early career and established researchers to advance knowledge and its application. Through these initiatives, SSHRC collaborates with national or international agencies, government departments and organizations across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to help advance strategic objectives. These collaborations reinforce the central role social sciences and humanities research plays in Canada’s prosperity and quality of life.
