Public talks series “In Conversation With” continues with deep dive into Canadian electoral system
April 1, 2022
The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), in partnership with The Conversation Canada, continues its series of public talks—In Conversation With—featuring the winners of SSHRC’s 2021 Impact Awards.
Join us for a talk with André Blais, professor in the Department of Political Science and University Research Chair in Electoral Studies at the Université de Montréal. Blais is one of the world’s leading experts on voting behaviour and electoral systems. His research achievements earned him SSHRC’s 2021 Insight Award.
The event will take place on April 12, 2022, at 1 p.m. (eastern) via live webcast, and will include a question-and-answer period. Blais’ talk, “To vote or not to vote…,” will be in French, with simultaneous interpretation and closed captioning in both official languages. A video recording of the event will be made available afterwards.
Don’t miss it; join the conversation!
