College and Community Innovation Program
To increase the capacity of colleges to transform the results of research and development (R&D) into economic activities
|
As announced in Budget 2007, the College and Community Innovation Program (CCI), has been established with the objective of increasing innovation at the community and/or regional level by enabling Canadian colleges to increase their capacity to work with local companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It supports applied research and collaborations that facilitate commercialization, as well as technology transfer, adaptation and adoption of new technologies.
The CCI Program is managed by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada in collaboration with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.

International Research Initiative on Adaptation to Climate Change

This new initiative is a joint partnership involving SSHRC, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the International Development Research Centre
