York, Dalhousie and Queen's researchers also take home prizes
The University of British Columbia's Janet Werker has won SSHRC's highest honour. The internationally acclaimed social scientist was awarded the Gold Medal in recognition of her 30-year career in developmental psychology---- particularly for her ground-breaking work on language acquisition.
Werker was joined by four other noted researchers at SSHRC's 2015 Impact Awards Gala on November 16 in Ottawa. Read more about this year's Impact Award winners.
