Perspectives on COVID-19: Impacts on disadvantaged populations

The pandemic has created new inequalities in our society and exacerbated existing ones. Disadvantaged communities have experienced particularly severe impacts due to it.

Voices such as those presented here, from within Canada’s social sciences and humanities research community, are bringing to light the different impacts of the pandemic, and delving into how and why different communities have been affected. The research is vital for ensuring Canada emerges from this period with more insight into the problems and solutions facing many segments of our population.
