Workshops and Conferences program offers new, fully electronic, online submission process

In June 2009, SSHRC announced that the Standard Research Grants competition was moving to a fully electronic, online submission process. After receiving positive feedback from the research community, SSHRC has decided to extend the new, paperless application process to the Aid to Research Workshops and Conferences in Canada program.

Applicants will continue to submit their applications to their university research office for approval, and must continue to adhere to the internal deadlines set by their institution. However, the university research administrator will approve and electronically submit all applications to SSHRC.

The next application deadline is May 1, 2010.
