Intercouncil Grant Mechanisms

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council are committed to providing as seamless a research funding environment as possible. The objective is to improve the support environment currently available to researchers, as well as the joint peer review mechanisms. As a result, we are currently reviewing the Intercouncil Grant Mechanism, with the aim of providing updated guidelines in the near future. In the interim, please contact a SSHRC program officer to discuss the submission of, and review procedures for, proposals that overlap agency jurisdictions.
