Michèle Thibodeau-DeGuire

Michèle Thibodeau-DeGuire has been president and executive director of Centraide of Greater Montreal since 1991. After a 20-year career as a structural engineer, she was named Quebec’s delegate to New England; she then became director of public relations at the École Polytechnique de Montréal. Ms. Thibodeau-DeGuire has received many awards and distinctions: a member of the Order of Canada and a knight of the National Order of Québec, she is also a member of the Academy of Great Montrealers and of the Canadian Academy of Engineering.

Michèle Thibodeau-DeGuire holds a degree in civil engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, and honorary degrees from the Université de Montréal (HEC), Concordia University, Université du Québec à Montréal and McGill University.
