Karin Schnarr

Karin Schnarr is an assistant professor at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. She teaches business strategy at the undergraduate and master’s levels, and is the case lead for the university’s undergraduate Integrated Case Exercise.

Schnarr’s research focuses on corporate governance, global healthcare management and innovation, and organizational deviance. She previously held senior roles in the Ontario government, as well as senior positions in the private sector consulting for executive-level clients on strategy, corporate communications and crisis management. Her clients were in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Schnarr received a PhD in strategic management and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University, a master’s degree in English literature from Queen’s University and bachelor’s degrees in English literature and science from the University of Waterloo.
