Leslie Monkman

Leslie Monkman, a specialist in Canadian and Commonwealth literatures in English, is professor emeritus at Queen's University. He is the author of A Native Heritage: Images of the Indian in English-Canadian Literature and author or editor of numerous other critical studies and teaching anthologies. Professor Monkman has previously served as special advisor to the principal, associate vice-principal (academic) and associate and acting dean of arts and science at Queen's. He received his Ph.D. in English language and literature from York University.
