Gregory Kealey

Gregory Kealey is provost and vice-president (research) at the University of New Brunswick. Prior to joining UNB, he was dean of graduate studies and professor of history at Memorial University of Newfoundland. A social and labour historian, Dr. Kealey founded the journal Labour and serves as general editor of the Canadian Social History Series. He is currently researching the history of Canada’s secret service and state repression of labour. A fellow of the Royal Historical Society and the Royal Society of Canada, Dr. Kealey holds a PhD in history from the University of Rochester.
