Cinthia Duclos is pursuing a PhD in business law at the Université Laval. Her research interests focus mainly on corporate governance and financial services regulation. A member of the Quebec Bar Association since 2008, she holds a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Université Laval. Duclos is very active in the academic community and has received several prizes and awards during her studies. In particular, she received a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship in April 2010.
Duclos has worked as a student-researcher in commercial law and as a lawyer specializing in commercial litigation for Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. She is currently a research assistant for the research program on financial advice services and portfolio management directed by the Centre d’études en droit économique at the Université Laval.
