Kerry Day

Kerry Day practises law with Bennett Jones LLP in Edmonton, Alberta. She is a business lawyer with extensive corporate/commercial, securities, risk management and compliance experience. Before joining Bennett Jones in March 2009, Day was head of the legal services team at ATB Financial. Prior to joining that organization in 2000, she held a number of legal executive positions with TELUS and its predecessor in Alberta since 1994, before which she was a partner in a national law firm with offices in Edmonton practising corporate/commercial and securities law.

Day is a currently on the board of directors of the Edmonton Space Sciences Foundation and was formerly a member of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association board of directors. She earned a BA in Canadian Studies from McGill University and received her law degree from the University of Alberta, where she remains an active member of both the Senate and the Alumni Association.
